The ACLS course begins with a strong foundation of Basic Life Support science. Focus areas include:
advanced airway management, ekg analysis, acute coronary syndrome and stroke, ACLS pharmacology, post-resuscitation science, management of shock, AED’s, special situations, “code team dynamics” and more. Skills validation is required.

Prerequisites: Current BLS or CPR for Healthcare Provider proficiency**.

For those currently ACLS certified and due for renewal.

Prerequisites: Current ACLS card and BLS or CPR for Healthcare Provider proficiency**.

Course Manuals: ACLS Manuals are required for the course, and must be purchased separately. A limited supply will be available for purchase at the door. Manuals may also be purchased though our distributor, Channing Bete.

*Please Note: The ACLS course is designed ONLY for providers who's scope of practice includes possessing a working knowledge of ECG rhythm interpretation, critical care assessment and intervention skills, and a solid background in basic life support. Skills validation is required.

** If your CPR certification is nearly due, CPR recertification can be obtained at any ACLS course offering for an additional fee of $75.00 payable on location at the time of the course. Be aware that additional time may be required to complete CPR recertification.
