The ACLS course begins with a strong foundation of Basic Life Support science.  Focus areas include: advanced airway management, ekg analysis, acute coronary syndrome and stroke, ACLS pharmacology, post-resuscitation science, management of shock, AED’s, special situations, “code team dynamics” and more.  Skills validation is required.

Tuition and Registration
ACLS  Full Certification: 

Tuition: $245.00

For first time students or students whose ACLS certification has expired. Includes all updated algorithms and content.

Prerequisites: Current BLS or CPR for Healthcare Provider proficiency*.

 

Course Manuals:  ACLS Manuals are required for the course, and must be purchased separately.

ACLS Recertification:

Tuition: $200.00

For those currently ACLS certified and due for renewal.

Prerequisites: Current ACLS card and BLS or CPR for Healthcare Provider proficiency**.

NEW!  HEARTCODE® ACLS Part II Skills Sessions:Hands-On Portion: Skills Sessions for In-Person Practice and Testing

Tuition: $120.00

ONLY for students who have taken the American Heart Association's HEARTCODE® ACLS online elearning portion of the ACLS course. A validated certificate is required!  For online course information click here to be directed to the American Heart Association's online learning website.

 

For American Heart Association courses that include psychomotor skills such as CPR and ACLS, students must complete an in-person skills practice and testing session to obtain an AHA course completion card. With AHA Blended Learning, the skills practice and skills test are taken together during a Hands-on Skills Session after the student completes the eLearning portion online.

After the course -

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ECARD

The American Heart Association (AHA) no longer issues physical course completion cards. They are issued electronically via each individual student’s unique email.

Within about a week after your class you will receive an email from the American Heart Association. Business days do NOT include weekdays or holidays.

  • This email may be marked by your internet service provider as junk or spam, and might be found in one of those folders of your email account.

    • Make sure you didn’t overlook the email.

    • Be sure to add emails from @heart.org to your safe senders

    • If you do not see the email from the American Heart Association, try to run a few searches in your email inbox and/or junk folder.

    • Search for emails from: no-reply@heart.org or eCards@heart.org

  • IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THE EMAIL FROM THE AHA, use this link to claim your ecard: http://heart.org/mycards

    • Enter your first name, last name and email address in the fields.

    • You will be taken to the page to set up your ecard account with the AHA.

  • You will be required to choose a security question & answer to set up a secure user account on the AHA site.

  • You will then be asked to answer a few questions about your course.

  • Once you submit your answers, a new page noting your ecard code number will open. This is NOT your ecard.

    • On this page you will see link to view and download the pdf of your ecard in wallet size or full size.

    • There is also an option to email your ecard.

Once you have claimed your ecard, your employer may verify the validity of the ecard on the American Heart Association® website at this URL: https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards?pid=ahaecard.employerStudentSearch

NOTE: They will need the code from your ecard.

Refund Policy:  Course participants will be issued a refund only if they cancel with at least 48 hours notice prior to the course start time. Cancellations must be emailed to learn@advancece.com• Date stamp on email must be 48 hours or greater.• Course participants who do not show up for a course will not be issued a refund.• Missed classes may be rescheduled within two months of original course date with email notification and instructor approval. • Any course participant who shows up more than 15 minutes late to a coursemay be denied entry will not be issued a refund.
